Recycled plastic, reimagined as a material.

Why choose Plaskito?

Moisture-resistant

Rain, splashes, humidity: the material won't swell or rot. Install it with confidence on terraces, in bathrooms or outdoors.

Low maintenance

Easy to clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. No varnishing, oiling or treatment required.

Strong and durable

Dense and impact-resistant, the material stands up to heavy use: restaurants, offices, public spaces.

Termite-proof

With no wood fibers, there's nothing for termites or wood mold to attack. Your furniture stays sound, season after season.

Stain-resistant

Coffee, sauce, water-based marker: the non-porous surface doesn't hold common stains. They come off with a simple wipe.

Thermoformable

Heat-moldable for greater flexibility. Can be shaped into curved surfaces, custom volumes and bespoke elements.

Frequently asked questions about our materials

What are Plaskito materials made of?

They’re made from 100% recycled plastic: HDPE (high-density polyethylene) and LDPE (low-density polyethylene), sourced from post-consumer plastic waste.

Where are they made?

The plastic is collected, processed and shaped locally, in our workshop in Tunisia.

What thicknesses are available?

Panels come in 6 mm, 1 cm and 1.8 cm.

Can you make custom pieces?

Yes. HDPE is thermoformable: it can be bent with heat to create custom shapes and pieces. For a professional project, we also offer custom colors.

Are the materials recyclable?

Yes. They are designed to be taken back and reprocessed into new materials at the end of their life. Discover our sustainability approach.
